Fellowships and Other Opportunities

Florida Gubernatorial Fellows Program18youngchinagirlg视频 ALEXAGRACE小女十六岁 Established in 2004, the program provides college and university students the unique opportunity to spend an academic year working alongside state government’s senior staff. Gubernatorial Fellows receive firsthand, on-the-job training as well as valuable, high-level experience and insight into state government and how it works. Eligible candidates are graduate students or upperclassmen at a Florida college or university. Approximately 12 students from across the state are selected to serve as Gubernatorial Fellows each year. The White House Fellows Program Established in 1965 under President Johnson, the White House Fellows Program is the nation’s most prestigious fellowship for leadership development and public service. The purpose of the program is to provide gifted and highly motivated young Americans with first-hand experience in the process of governing the nation and a sense of personal involvement in the leadership of society. An ideal White House Fellows candidate is an individual who displays a record of professional achievement early in one’s career; evidence of leadership skills and the potential for further growth; a demonstrated commitment to public service; and the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute successfully at the highest levels of the federal government. The White House Internship Program provides an opportunity to experience day-to-day life at the White House while working on a variety of tasks and projects. In addition to normal office duties, interns attend weekly lectures, volunteer at special events, participate in tours, and contribute to a community service project in the Washington, D.C. area. White House Internships are unpaid positions and participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation and housing. Information on the application process, including deadlines .
